Prestige International Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichi Tamagami;) is pleased to announce that it was certified as an “Akita Prefecture Version of Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization” promoted by Akita Prefecture, effective March 1, 2026.

About This Certification

To promote health building among the working-age generation, Akita Prefecture certifies and supports corporations actively engaged in "health and productivity management." Certification is awarded in recognition of continuous efforts in all 10 certification criteria aimed at overcoming health issues of the working-age generation, targeting employees and their families, as outlined in the Health Akita Iki-iki Action Plan (Health Management Declaration; Health Checkups, Specific Health Checkups, and Specific Health Guidance; Improving Cancer Screening Rates; Nutrition and Diet; Physical Activity and Exercise; Zero Passive Smoking and Smoking Cessation; Alcohol and Health; Dental and Oral Health; Mental Health; and Social Participation).

Initiatives of the Prestige International Group and BPO Centers in Akita Prefecture

The Prestige International Group believes that its employees are its greatest asset and that it is most important for them to work cheerfully and healthily. Setting the improvement of productivity through the promotion of employee health as a key goal, our five BPO centers in Akita Prefecture have mainly implemented the following activities to address the issues faced by the working-age generation in Akita Prefecture. These efforts have been evaluated and led to this certification.

  • Creating an Environment for Habitual Exercise
We have introduced exercises devised by our corporate sports team, “Aranmare,” and regularly hold walking events. In addition, we have relaxed our dress code to allow employees to work in sneakers, thereby creating an environment that encourages spontaneous exercise.
  • Disease Prevention and Improving Health Literacy
In addition to subsidizing the cost of various cancer screenings, we have established a “Health Leave” system, a special paid leave that employees can use for re-examinations or thorough examinations if required. We also continuously hold health seminars on themes such as cancer prevention and oral health.
  • Building a System to Support Mental Health
We have introduced an online counseling service available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing a specialized consultation desk. Furthermore, employees who have completed a training course promoted by the prefecture are stationed at all BPO centers, building an organizational system that leads to the early detection of mental health issues and appropriate support.
  • Social Participation (Contribution to the Local Community)
For the purpose of refreshing employees' minds and bodies and strengthening community ties, we regularly conduct clean-up activities at nearby beaches.
