Examples of activities related to the agreement
In May 2022, PI Group announced its endorsement of the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) recommendations, and is implementing activities to reduce CO2 emissions and create services that respond to lifestyle changes in preparation for a decarbonized society.
Yamagata BPO Park, the venue for the collaboration agreement ceremony, is also preparing to replace its fleet of company vehicles with EVs as part of its activities to promote the widespread use of EVs, and has installed recharging facilities on its parking lot. This will not only encourage employees to use EVs for commuting and work by securing a recharging environment, but will also revitalize the local community through the use of EVs, based on the concept of Yamagata BPO Park as a “Bridge connecting people to people, employees to the company, and the company to the local community”.
